eSports Career of Nicolai “dev1ce” Reedtz

Reedtz first appeared in the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive scene by winning several small tournaments with team Wolves and landing 5th to 8th place at DreamHack Winter 2013.

After a transition phase, in which he played for the team über G33KZ, he committed to the British organization Team Dignitas in February 2014, when he had the chance to play with a fully Danish squad. Under the flag of Dignitas, dev1ce won ESL One Katowice 2014 and Fragbite Masters Season 2. Besides that, the team lost to NiP in the Copenhagen Games 2014 semi-finals.

At the beginning of 2015, Nikolai competed in a major tournament for the last time with Dignitas.
The next step in the development of the player was the famous American organization, Team SoloMid. In the same year, Reedtz was chosen for the first time by HLTV.org as one of the 20 best Counter-Strike: Global Offensive players.

With TSM, dev1ce was able to build on his success at Dignitas, adding the 99Damage Masters I, the Alienware Area 51 Cup # 2, the Game Show CS: GO League Season 2, and the Counter Pit League trophies.

At the end of 2015, the five Danes departed from TSM and continued to play without professional organization.

In January 2016 the team, led by Frederik “relation” Byskov, found their new home in an organization called Astralis. From then on, dev1ce has been one of the core players of the Danish super team. Thanks to his K/D rate of 1.22, Astralis won their first major at the ELEAGUE Major Atlanta 2017.
