In Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, there is an opinion that the IGL (in-game leader) can’t be a successful rifler or AWP-er. There is solid logic behind this statement because usually, the IGLs should think for the rest of their teammates and the team strategy in a fast changing scenario. Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo is proof of the opposite. He is not only one of the greatest IGLs in the world and the captain of the Brazilian SK Gaming, but also one of the best AWP-ers worldwide.

Currently, FalleN is playing Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. He also one of the few professional players that has had experience in both predecessors of CS: GO, Counter-Strike 1.6 and Counter-Strike Source. As we mentioned, his favorite weapon is AWP and the statistics are categorical about it. More than 6,000 kills have been made by FalleN in his competitive career. Next on the list is the AK-47, with 6 times less. The P250 is Gabriel’s favorite pistol, since he has killed more people with it than the default Terrorists and Counter-Terrorists pistols, USP and Glock.

eSports Career of Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo

For his 26 years, FalleN already has a pretty interesting eSports career. He started as a Counter-Strike 1.6 player, moved for a while to the Counter-Strike Source, and is currently playing Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. With all this experience, Gabriel surely has a great knowledge about the game. The biggest team in his 1.6 career was the American CompLexity team, which was pretty famous back in the day. After that, in the dawn of the new CS, he played for relatively small teams such as PlayArt, ProGaming, KaBum!, and Games Academy.

His rise started with the organization Luminosity Gaming, where he won his first ever Major title. Soon after that, FalleN and the rest of the team members transferred to the Swedish organization SK Gaming to become one of the most iconic and legendary Counter-Strike: Global Offensive teams.

Besides all that, Gabriel owns his own eSports organization, Games Academy, where young Brazilian talents are training under his patronage.
