eSports Career of Henrik “AdmiralBulldog” Ahnberg

Henrik debuted with the Swedish team No Tidehunter back in 2013 against team Empire. The following period was quite good for the player. He and his teammates were picked by Alliance in April 2013.

Immediately after getting sponsored, Alliance won 6 premier tournaments in a row including The International 3.

The last moments of the match were noted by the community as the most interesting because of Gustav “s4” Magnusson’s “1 million dollar dream coil”.

In the next year’s International, Alliance disappointed with their performance, finishing 11th-12th in the final standing. Due to these results, the organization announced roster changes.  AdmiralBulldog decided to go inactive from the competitive scene and start a full-time stream on Twitch.tv.

Of course, the passion of playing at the competitive level brought him back to the game for Alliance in the I-league Season 3, where they finished at the 5-6 place.

The next year in the WCA 2015 Europe Open Qualifier, Alliance secured first place which was their first gold medal since the ASUS ROG FreamLeague S11.

As part of the annual post The International roster shake-up, S4, AdmiralBulldog, and Joakim “Akke” Akterhall duo left Alliance in 2016.

Even though he is not competing, he has remained a relevant personality in DotA 2 thanks to his Twitch stream channel. We are sure that AdmiralBulldog will soon start playing competitively again, and to be honest we can’t wait for his return.
