Founded in 1997 by a small group of Quake players, nowadays SK Gaming is a professional eSports organization based in Germany that has eSports teams across the world competing in different titles.

Schroet Kommando was founded in 1997 as a German Quake clan by four brothers and three accomplices in Oberhausen. The original line-up of Schroet Kommando consisted of Ralf “Griff” Reichert, Daniel “Godlike” Beames, Tim “Burke” Reichert, Benjamin “Kane” Reichert, Kristof “Speed” Salwiczek, Carsten “Storch” Kramer and Sven “Ramses” Tümmers. This makes SK, one of the oldest gaming organizations in the world with almost 20 years history. With amazing willpower, the team was able to store up to today fueled by the love of thousands of fans around the world.

SK Gaming Counter-Strike:GO eSport Review

Currently SK Gaming is holding the strongest Counter-Strike:GO team, after took under their flag Brazilian talented boys from Luminosity. SK Gaming manages to win two Global Offensive major events in a row, which make them most successful team for 2016 in that discipline.  The wonderful form of the team is a prerequisite for more big wins by the end of the year. Marcelo “coldzera” David, Lincoln “fnx” Lau, Tacio “TACO” Filho, Fernando “fer” Alvarenga and Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo, reminded all the glorious times of the Brazilian giants MIBR and created a lot of fans with doughty play stile and relentless spirit.

SK Gaming League of Legends eSport Review

League of Legends is definitely not the strongest discipline for SK Gaming. Even that fact, the roster for 2016 seems to be very talented and experienced. With two players for the Republic of Korea, SK hopes that will raise the level and will be close to the best eSports teams in League of Legends. Still, it will take some time until this team become a factor and begin seriously to oppose best LOL teams

SK History

From its founding in 1997, the organization was able to withstand all obstacles accompanying her across the years. Currently, SK Gaming has players and teams in Counter-Strike: GO, League of Legends, Quake, Hearthstone, World of Warcraft, and Smite, which makes it one of the most complex gaming organization in the world. Despite the difficulties of the time SK Gaming managed to stay on the top for all that years.

At 23 of June 2018, Brazilian organization MIBR signed whole SK.Gaming team. So they are currently without a Counter-Strike Global Offensive roster.

In 2018, the organization was rumored to be rejoining the EU LCS as part of the 2019 European franchise program. Later, on November 20, Riot Games confirmed SK Gaming as one of the ten partner teams for the LEC 2019 Spring Split.
