9. Ijaz Ahmed

Ijaz Ahmed is a retired Pakistani cricketer and cricket coach. He played a total of 250 One Day Internationals for Pakistan and scored six Test centuries against Australia. Ahmed was a powerful hitter and therefore it is not surprising that he shows up in our ranking of the longest sixes.

Furthermore, he was also the second Pakistani batsman to score 10 One Day International centuries and he scored a 115m six against England. Currently, he is Pakistan’s Under-19 cricket team coach and batting coach and consultant of the Lahore Qalandars.

8. Daniel Christian

Daniel Christian is an Australian cricketer who is playing for Victoria and the Multan Sultan franchise of Pakistan Super League. Currently, he is holding the record for the highest T20 score when batting at number 5 or lower.

Rising Pune Supergiants purchased him for the 2017 Indian Premier League. Before the 2018 IPL season, he was then bought by the Delhi Daredevils.

7. Corey Anderson – Top 10 Longest Sixes

Corey Anderson is a New Zealand cricketer playing for the Lahore Qalanders in Pakistan Premier League, Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League and Northern Districts in New Zealand first-class cricket.

He set a record by scoring the world’s fastest century in the history of One Day International cricket against West Indies. He scored it in just 36 balls, he finished the innings unbeaten on 131 in 47 balls hitting 14 sixes and 6 fours.

6. Chris Gayle – Top 10 Longest Sixes

Chris Gayle is a Jamaican allrounder who captained the West Indies Test side from 2007 until 2010. Cricket experts consider him to be one of the world’s best batsmen in Twenty20 cricket. Gayle set multiple records across all formats of the game.

He is the highest run-scorer for the West Indies in One Day Internationals and scored the most sixes in international and T20 cricket. Gayle was also the first cricketer in history to score centuries in all formats of cricket.

Shahid Afridi is the second player with multiple entries in our ranking of the longest sixes. He is a truly amazing player and a true master of hitting the ball. Afridi is well known and feared by his opponents for his ultra-aggressive and attack-oriented playing style.

He produced three of the seven fastest centuries in One Day Internationals history and has an ODI strike rate of 114.53 runs per 100 balls which speaks for itself. Due to his aggressive playing style, certain experts have criticized him for his fairly inconsistent style.

3. Mark Waugh

Mark Waugh is a former Australian cricketer who represented Australia in Test matches and made his One Day International debut in 1988. He was a right-handed batsman and is regarded as one of the best slip fielders in history.

Waugh started his career as an all-rounder, but later on, he shifted his focus and became an outstanding runscorer. He was the first batsman in history to score three centuries at a World Cup in 1996 and his fourth century at the 1999 World Cup made him the only Australian cricketer to score four centuries in World Cups.

2. Yuvraj Singh

Yuvraj Singh is a 38-year old former Indian cricketer. He was the Vice-captain of the Indian ODI team and competed in every cricket form.

He played in One Day Internationals for 17 years and was the Man of the Tournament in 2011 when India won the ICC Cricket World Cup.

Singh beat cancer in 2011 and came back to the pitch only a couple of months later. In 2012 he received the Arjuna Award which is the second-highest sporting award of the Indian Government.
