He was very famous for his Blitzcrank back in the day. However in 2011, Yiliang, along with his teammates from Curse Inc, joined another big North American organization – Counter Logic Gaming. There he started to play in his current role as an AD Carry. 2012 was very successful for the player and the rest of the team members. Together they attended a variety events including the MLG Fall Championship and the PL 5 Tournament, where they established themselves as one of the most solid American teams. In 2013, CLG participated in the new RIOT event – Season 3 North American League Championship Series Spring Split. After a long season and battles against the best teams from the region, Doublelift and company managed to qualify for the playoffs. On the other side, Summer Split of the same season wasn’t so successful for the team, since they were in the middle of the table from the beginning to the end. In that period, Doublelift represented North America in the 2013 All-Star tournament. Next year, CLG finished 3rd in the 2014 NA LCS Spring Regular Season, and then 3rd again in the playoffs after a 2-0 loss to Team Curse. Summer Split again was not so good for the team and they rank number 6 in the final standing. 2015 started awfully for the American squad after they were found a guilty of poaching Darshan “ZionSpartan” Upadhyaya. However, for the first eight weeks of the Spring Split, they were never lower in the standings than tied for second place. After a great start of the Summer Split, and a not so great end of the regular season, CLG managed to win the LAN finals and secure the first spot at the upcoming majors. At Worlds, CLG failed to make the bracket, finishing 12/13th and Doublelift was informed that the organization would not be re-signing him for the upcoming season. Later this year Team SoloMid announced that Doublelift would be joining as their new AD Carry. After an up-and-down performance of TSM in the first split of the NA LCS, they ended in 6th before clawing their way up to the final where they had to play against CLG. Doublelift had the chance to face his former organization. After an incredible 5 match battle, CLG won. The Summer Split went under the domination of TSM. Doublelift made some amazing games, picking the off meta champion Lucian and breaking the competition. Despite having a high KDA against Samsung at the following Worlds Finals, Doublelift infamously dashed into a Viktor with ultimate and caused them to lose the game, which ultimately caused them to not make it out of groups. Season 7 2017 started slowly for Doublelift since he was not part of any team. However, in Week 7 of the regular season, he made his way back to the competitive scene with Team Liquid. Later this year he returned to TSM for the 2017 NA LCS Summer Split, replacing Jason “WildTurtle” Tran, who was traded to FlyQuest. TSM ended with a massive 14-4 record and secured 1st place at the playoffs of Worlds. After intense group battles, the North American team was eliminated from the competition.
